To Whom It May Concern:

The Center for War/Peace Studies is happy to support the work of the World Alliance for Transforming the United Nations (WATUN), We see your work as giving important leadership to the movement that seeks to engage the nations and the people worldwide in major efforts to provide to the UN the legitimacy and authority it needs to fulfill the objectives cited in the preamble of the United Nations Charter. We consider the role of the General Assembly as especially important, and in order to enhance its legitimate authority we are working for weighted voting on major global issues that face the world community.

We see the mission of WATUN to urge and promote a Review of the UN Charter as a first step in alerting the public to the need for a stronger, more effective United Nations.

We look forward to providing continued assistance for the work of the World Alliance to Transform the United Nations.

Sincerely,

Lucy Law Webster
